Well, two of us here from the zixpk.com team are going to be camping out in front of our local Apple store. Unless if you have been living under a rock than you would know that the iPhone 3G is being released tomorrow (Friday). Oh my god,I cant wait! We are going to be taking pictures throughout the camp-out and posting them on here live. That is if we can get wifi in the mall, otherwise I will post the images as soon as I get home.

So if anyone here is reading our post and is going to the Palisades Mall, than make sure to look happy when I'm taking pictures.

You cheap bastard! You don't even want to buy a pack of gum, you want everything in life to be free, don't you. Is a couple a dollars too much for you? If it is, Stride is offering a free pack of gum ranging in all flavors like Sweet Berry,Sweet Cinnamon or Always Mandarin. Good deal if you ask me, but the thing is that you will have to wait around 4-6 weeks to actually get it. By that time you would have forgotten that you even signed up for the free gum, it will be like a sweet surprise.

So, I have decided to make the switch back to Windows XP. I’ve had Vista for some time now, since it was first released. I like the interface of Vista and its transparent borders, but that's about it. As most of you know Vista is a resource hungry operating system and for a computer that's about five years old, that isn't too good. To get Vista to run "better" on my computer I had to upgrade a couple of things like my graphics card and I had to get more ram.

I enjoyed Vista for some time until it started to get sluggish. So I started to think about making a switch back to XP because those upgrades that I made to my computer would make XP run faster than it did before and also because XP uses less system resources.

So here I am typing away, with my new operating system XP (well old), and I have to say that some of the programs that I used to run in Vista now run faster in XP such as Photoshop CS 3 and iTunes to name a few. All that I have to test out now is that if my games run smoother also.

By the way, you can make XP’s interface look way better than Vista’s by using Windowblinds.

It has been around two weeks now, since I bought these Bose around-ear headphones. My main reason for buying these headphones was because my old headphones that I used to have broke (no sound came from the left side).

So I started to search around looking for a good pair of headphones. At my local Apple store, I found what I was looking for. On every iPod and iPhone there were Bose headphones connected to them. I started to try them all on, the on-ear headphones and the around-ear headphones.

When I tried them all on I was blown away from the amazing sound quality (this is coming from someone who hasn’t owned a nice pair headphones, just the ones that the products come with). Before I tried these headphones I thought that there really couldn’t be such a big difference in sound quality between cheap and expensive headphones. Boy was I wrong! No wonder Bose products are so expensive, they are extremely high quality.

So I asked an Apple employee to ring me up the around –ear headphones. I chose these because first off they were the least expensive (not in ear) headphones by Bose that they had, and second because by the headphones being around the ear it acts like a sound barrier. Don’t get me wrong these headphones are not meant to cancel out noise, not like the QC 3 or QC 2 by Bose, but by it being around the ear it helps to cancel out some noises like your Xbox 360, your computer fan, or any other noise that’s not too loud.

Well anyways the Apple employee told me that they had none in stock (are these headphones that popular? Yeah!). So I left the Apple store, and I was going to go to target to see if they had any in stock, but on my way to Target I noticed that the store Sharper Image was closing down. And they had giant posters saying that all their products were on discount. So I decided to try my luck there. I asked the employee there if they had any in stock, and he said that they had 2 left and both had a $30 discount. I was so happy because at the Apple store I was going to pay full price of $139.95 and now at Sharper Image I was only going to pay $110.

So I bought them and I have been very happy of my purchase ever since. I would recommend these headphones to anyone who enjoys amazing sound quality. Also another plus about these around-ear headphones by Bose is that they are extremely light weight (you can wear these headphones for hours on end), and the padding/ cushions on either side are really comfortable (its like having pillows on both of your ears). So my overall impression of these Bose headphones that I bought have been amazing.
